『Sensei! We-! In accordance with sportsmanship-!』

The representative student gives an oath greeting atop the morning assembly platform.

Today is the sports festival.

Blessed with fine weather, it is the ideal day for athletics.

"Finally, this day has come..."

"Yeah, we've been waiting for this..."

"I even trimmed my leg hair just for this day..."

Tanaka-kun and the others whispered to each other.

For about the past month, they had undergone special training for the sports festival after school.

Everyone was filled with enthusiasm.

"Well then, we will now begin the sports festival."

With the principal's speech concluded, the sports festival finally starts.

Everyone scatters to their respective locations.

There are two types of events: class-vs-class competitions and the school-wide Red-and-White team battle.

Our class is on the Red Team.

We aimed for victory not only in our class category but also as the Red Team.

"All right! We're gonna win!"

"Everyone! Let's get pumped up!"

"Oh yeah!"

"..."

"What's wrong, Kobayashi? Your energy is low."

"Natsu's... gym uniform appearance..."

"It looks like she's focusing, so let's leave her be."

"True."

"Let's pretend we didn't see anything."

"Dhyufu, gufufufufufufufu..."

"Somehow, the class rep is emitting a wicked aura..."

"Don't make eye contact! You'll get dragged in!"

"Let's pretend we didn't see this side either."

"Gufufufufufu... hiea! Ahiei!"

"He's staring intensely at Natsu..."

"It's true that Natsu in her gym clothes has a certain appeal, but..."

"Don't stare at that either! If you think about how irresistible the knees peeking out from her half pants are, you're done for!"

"Manufacturer... knees and behind the knees. Which one is more delicious?"

"Hey! Sato! Get a grip! Both are obviously delicious!"

"Suzuki, get a hold of yourself too! Don't leave me all alone before it even starts!"

The first event is the "Ladle Relay," where participants carry a ball on a ladle without dropping it.

The leadoff runner is Tanaka-kun.

"All right! I'll show you my running right away!"

"Starting with Tanaka..."

"Looks like a tough start..."

"The ladle relay is a piece of cake! I'll come back in first place by a landslide!"

Bang!

The start signal sounds.

Everyone starts all at once and...

"Ah."

"He blew it!"

"Just like Tanaka."

"I knew it."

"A man who never betrays expectations."
