Normal fighting head-on without a plan is impossible to win against this opponent, but with this, damage can be dealt.

「[Triple Slash]！」

Triple attack of the Boss cuts through Sally's body, while Sally's combo attacks unleash fierce damage effects on the Boss.

「We are struggling like crazy here, and only now we got 20%?!"

「I'm fine! Because Iz-san still has potions!」

「Damn... the movements are simple, yet!

Simple combos, fast pursuits, encirclements, no gimmicks, just crushing with simple strength.

Considering that the action patterns will increase from here on, Sally doesn't have much leeway either.

「My damage output is also at maximum, yet!

The dagger and longsword, wrapped in the blue aura of [Sword Dance], clash and sparks fly.

Sally shoots magic to restrain, but the Boss dodges cleanly, just like Sally usually does.

「...Maybe Maple's [Poison Dragon (Hydra)] is also useless?

Sally ponders, thinking how to deal damage before the pattern changes. Most of Maple's attacks are single shots, and if they are dodged, the damage they can deal drops drastically.

Furthermore, if the Boss's power increases, the current strategy won't work.

「Phew... Oboro [Shadow Clone]！」

Sally splits into clones and attacks each, but the sword glows in response, and a spinning slash cuts down all clones.

Sally herself barely dodges, but her expression is grim.

In her head, she separates effective skills from ineffective ones, thinking of a strategy combining Maple's skills.

「Alright. Maple! I have a strategy to deal damage, so listen! After we finish talking, we'll deal damage until the pattern changes!

「Understood!

While dealing with the Boss, Sally verbally explains the strategy to Maple. Maple listens, memorizing the skills and timing.

「Okay! I'm fine!

「Then, [Triple Slash]！」

Sally's dagger chips away at HP, and at the point where 30% remained, the action pattern changed.

Swinging the sword wide, creating distance from Sally, the blade is placed over the hand. Then, flames erupt from the blade, starting to burn brilliantly.

「Maple, observe, so focus on recovery just in case!

「Yeah, will do!

The Boss swings the sword, launching flame blades straight ahead, then charges straight at Sally.

Sally avoids the flying flames and blocks the sword with her dagger. Then, the flames scatter onto Maple's armor, reducing Maple's HP.

「Ugh...

「This will burn too...!

Without blocking the attack, Sally somehow dodges, moving to prevent Maple from taking damage.

All of the Boss's attacks come with fire appended, and trying to dodge at the last second results in getting burned by the lingering fire hitbox. If she doesn't keep distance, zero damage is hard.

「Indeed, the gaps are getting smaller and smaller...

When taking distance, flame blades fly continuously. Because of this, Maple cannot use syrup.

Seeing little change in the movement itself, Sally sends instructions to Maple.

「Alright, Maple! I'll attack!

「Got it!

While Sally attacks to draw the Boss's attention, Maple deploys her weapon, exploding to close the distance instantly.

「[Freezing Earth]！」

With a sound, the ground freezes centered on Maple. This spreads to the Boss in contact with the ground, freezing the Boss's movements for three seconds.

「[Power Attack]！」

「[Poison Dragon (Hydra)]! [Oozing Chaos]! [Predator]！」

During those three seconds, they land attacks with big openings, attacks that are easy to dodge.

With the [Predator] attack, the Boss's stats lower further, but three seconds is short, and the Boss starts moving again immediately.

Just as the two tried to separate, the Boss stabbed the sword into the ground.

At the same time, a giant red magic circle unfolds centered on the Boss.

「First...!

「[Tyranny]！」

Maple's shout and a giant pillar of fire rising from the ground happened at the same time.
