All Free Online ~ Người Chơi Mạnh Nhất Tài Năng Tầm Thường Tự Xưng Là Kẻ Đạo Đức Giả Trong Vrmmo - Chương 16: Kẻ đạo đức giả và sự kiện vượt biển (Phần kết) Phần 16

Night, in the hotel room given to me.

On this resort island where no free citizens existed other than the employees, a new visitor had arrived.

"──Good work. Were you able to enjoy a wonderful harem life?"

"……Are you seriously saying that?"

The representative who produced my sightseeing over the past few days and evaluated the actions of the petitioner's familiars…… and above all, a shadowy presence who had been monitoring everything from the start.

"……Hph, you saw right through me. That's right, I am none other than Mels-sama's obedient servant and primary familiar──!"

"That's Mint, you know. Also, you're reading it flat so it doesn't feel like a villain at all. Ann, how long has it been since we last met face-to-face?"

"Let's see, a few hours ago, I suppose. To reiterate, we should have been having a secret tryst every time night fell."

"…………Come to think of it, we did. Besides, I have my doubts about phrasing it like that."

In truth, I met with Ann here every night.

There were a few things I wanted to discuss, and besides…… there were other reasons.

"I just wanted to see your faces and talk with you, that's all."

"Quite a nice line. Yes, my favorability rating has skyrocketed."

"Seriously? Being honest is important."

"However, since it only reaches us, please don't use it on anyone else."

We exchanged light banter as the conversation progressed.

By the time Ann's slightly flushed cheeks returned to normal…… we moved on to the main topic.

"Once again, good work. Being able to lead new familiars, and 'chosen ones' at that, is only possible because you are Mels-sama."

"……It's not like I was aiming for it. It's just that the person I happened to target turned out to be one. Besides, if the other side had refused, my luck is so weak that we wouldn't even cross paths anymore."

"By contrast, Mels-sama is below zero; indeed, had you been rejected, you surely would have ceased to appear in their story for a lifetime."

"Below a mob, seriously. In more ways than one, baring things as they are is the way to go."

Kana is an 'Instructor of Friendship', an undeniable, genuine 'Instructor' unlike someone like me.

Because she is a natural, she is already a candidate for the certified 'Chosen One'.

And the young lady is even higher than that.

Her song stirs the hearts of the masses and imbues power within her body──a diva, and an existence known as a 'Holy Maiden'.

"The 'Holy Maiden of Water Chant', the mermaid petitioner. The 'Holy Maiden' she is meant to embody is one that gathers faith through thoughts directed at her. If we successfully snatch it away, could it lead to their weakening as well?"

"Leaving it as it is should be fine. Have you been able to contact Rion?"

"Yes. Through the familiar's path, a partial falsification seems to be taking place. Also…… I have been entrusted with a message: 'When we meet next time, you will be my punching bag'."

"…………Are you serious?"

I am serious, Ann replied instantly.

Rion's punching bag, huh…… A scene that might even serve as a reward in another world floated in my mind, but the usual me hasn't fallen quite that far.

"A-Ahem. Well, when I meet Rion face-to-face, I'll have to get by with a dogeza. The problem is protecting those guys. Since they've become familiars, we must treat them with the highest priority…… I'm counting on you?"

"As a petitioner, yes. Understood, I shall convey that sentiment once more."

"……P-Please be as courteous as possible. Somehow, I feel like Rion is doing a fair amount of hard work. Well, not that it's for me to say."

As an evil god and former administrative deity, Rion can interfere with the management side to a certain extent.

I can't get involved smoothly there, so I have no choice but to ask and wait for the results.

Even with the cooperation of the GM sisters, that task is not an easy one; it's a difficult endeavor.

Since I'm asking for it, a price is necessary…… yep, I have no choice but to let myself be beaten to my heart's content.

"──By the way, Mels-sama, what are your plans for the future?"

"For now, there are two places I want to visit as Nozom…… or rather, one. Other than that, I don't particularly care where or what to do. I've already toured various places with those guys."

"Then, Mels-sama……"

"……That might not be bad either. Once to decide on souvenirs for you guys, and aside from that, maybe search for places we haven't been to yet. How should we decide? For an indecisive person like me, honestly, I have no clue."

In short, since the other side made a fuss over me, this time it's our turn to... so to speak.

Though I wonder if it's right for the side that encouraged them to make a fuss to say that, let's just say my state of mind was complicated.

Looking at the facts alone, they undoubtedly wish for it now.

If so, wouldn't it be the mark of a man to respond to that!

"Understood. Then, I shall have the selection finalized on this end. With a long-cherished, phantom project── 'Thump! The All-Female Swimsuit Competition'."

"……Eh? What is that event that I'd definitely regret missing if I didn't see it? Actually, I feel like I need to participate in that rather than the stuff over here?"

"Rest assured. At a later date, I shall have the edited footage made into a video and send it to you."

"……U-Uncensored, please."
